Sunday School

“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from your infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”

On Sunday mornings the kids at Living Word gather to learn and experience more of God’s teachings through Bible lessons in the Old and New Testaments. Sunday School begins at 9:00 AM with music and after separate into classes for lessons. Worship at 10:00 AM.

Assisting with Sunday School for the 2023-24 school year are: Tina Balling, Lacey Busack, Sandy Christensen, Laura Dallman, Sue DeJong, Katie Kruger, Maggie Kruger, Jessica Lewno, Lois Norris, Melanie Schwandt, and Cailey Sime

These devoted teachers lovingly give of their time each week in order to further God’s kingdom as the children learn the wonderful Bible stories, instilling His Word in their hearts. The children are encouraged to bring their own Bibles and also to bring a friend to Sunday school each week. Sunday school students sing during the Sunday morning worship service one Sunday per month.

Dependent on God’s Holy Spirit, it is our prayer that God continues to bless the children throughout their lives that they might spread the Gospel to others, leading humble, peaceful lives and shining the light of Jesus Christ wherever God leads them.

We endeavor to fulfill Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way they should go; even when they are old they will not depart from it.”

Please lift our teachers up in prayer always for God’s direction in their own lives as they bless the lives of our Living Word children.
